New items!

I know I know - we need to be better at posting. With the holiday season approaching and both of us on Christmas House Tour decorating committees there needs to be more hours in the day!
We are announcing a new line today "Owl Love You Forever." This is a great line for both boys and girls. The first set features a sweet owl print with a coordinating green fabric. Head on over to The Shop to get the details!

When patterns go bad

I have been working on a custom ordered knit hat and mitten set. The hat is complete and cute but the mitten...it looks like it belongs on an elf. The top is all pointy.

Disappointing to say the least.

I will post pictures tomorrow but MAN this is not a cute mitten.

That's what I get for picking a pattern without a picture.

We're Back!

I am so sorry for the long hiatus over here. Blogging on a daily basis is definitely a commitment and one that I plan to make! A few days late, I joined the National Blog Posting Month NaBloPoMo which means 1 post EVERY day for the rest of the month – YEAH!

Things are busy busy here. I have (4) custom orders that I am working on at the moment which is so exciting! There are so many ideas in my head and I cannot wait to get them created!

Briana of BennyandRoo is in the final stages of creating our web banner which is really great news! I am looking forward to having the shop set up ‘just so.’

While there are not a ton of listings in the shop, I have a few items waiting in the wings that I will post over the next few coming days!

A little preview:

“Hannah Grace Hat” Named after my little sister Hannah, a true girly girl, this hat is knit with a soft acrylic/wool blend and jazzed up with ribbons. The little girl in this hat will sure to be the talk of the town.

“Itty Bitty Booties” Knit with a cashmere blend these newborn booties are great for keeping itty bitty toes nice and warm. Made teeny tiny for those first few weeks when everything is just a little bit big.

“Little Mitts” Soft, warm and easy to put on, these vintage style mittens will remind you of the ones that Grandma made.

Check back for store updates!

Shop of The Week: NutNut

NutNut:lovely little things for family & home

This is a lovely little shop that I came across on Etsy. If you're familiar with Etsy, you know how it is - you cannot stop looking. If you're not familiar with Etsy, QUICK go there now!

Nut Nut is a great shop with a variety of items to suit any one's taste. This little mushroom zippy pouch with coordinating liner and the little tie on the zipper is so unbelievably sweet. Also in their shop is a to die for Hobo bag. If you're a bag person I suggest you check it out. It even has great pockets so that you don't lose your keys and cell phone in your bag [I hate when that happens].

Got little ones in your life? This 4 pack of pins is on my "purchase list" for Christmas. I love all the sweet little faces and I know a few lads and lasses that would love to pin these right on their backpacks. I of course will be needing a set for myself as well - I adore that bunny face!
I hope you have as much fun perusing NutNut as I did!
